Aftercare Instructions

Eyebrows Aftercare
Careful aftercare is very important for beautiful and lasting results.

1.BLOT Blot the brows with a clean wet cotton round or tissue as needed to absorb excess lymph the first 2-4 hours . Lymph is a clear / yellowish fluid that comes up from the brows in tiny bubbles . Let them air dry ( unclean lymph will form into scab and result in infection easily and poor retention ).

2.MOISTURIZE Add an EXTREMELY thin layer of ointment 1-2 times a day as needed if the brows feel tight or dry . Dab off excess ointment . For oily skin types , avoid applying ointment . No ointment for the first day then from 2 day apply ointment once a day in the evening (because this type of skin it’s moisturising itself so it’s important to clean more than moisture).

Continue to wipe as directed at least 2-3 times / day and apply ointment until scab off.

3.KEEP DRY Apart from washing, keep the brows dry as possible. If the brows get wet in the shower , blot dry immediately. In addition, avoid heavy sweating, saunas, swimming, etc, until the brows are done flaking or at least 14 days have passed ( whichever occurs first ).

4. DO NOT SLEEP ON YOUR FACE DURING HEALING Do not wear makeup on or close to the brows during healing.

5.SUN PROTECTION Do not expose your brows to direct sun while healing After healing , always cover and / or wear SPF on the brows , as UV rays can fade or shift the color of the tattoo over time.

6.DON’T PICK If you experience light scabbing , do not pick or pull at the scabs / flakes. Let the brows flake naturally. This process usually happens between days 7-10 but varies per person. Tap, don’t scratch the brows if they feel itchy.

EXPECTATIONS Brows will going through some stages of darkness and fading before settle properly, so please prepare.

Day 2 : Brows will appear thick and darker due to swelling and pigment starts to dry up.

Day 3-5: Brow may be itchy . flaking / scabbing off . Use a damp clean damp cotton

pad and leave it on your brows 30 sec – 1mins ( to soften the scab and help it come off gently).

Day 6+ : Brow will begin to lighten up and it could give you impression of colour is fading off. In most case this is absolutely normal part of the healing process as the natural of skin regeneration after peeling period due to a healing layer of skin called “milk skin”. The colour will start resurfaced a bit darker in the next or two weeks. Brows color could be still a bit patchy or uneven this is quite normal, that is reason why most clients need a touch up after 4-6 weeks.
